This is the larger version measuring approx 7.5” in length by 6.25” in height by 5.75” in depth. This a beautiful piece of Japanese art! An exquisite post 1950 Japanese Seto Aichi Yoshimi K. Iridescent gold gilded sculptured porcelain dragon clasping the sacred gold "Pearl of Wisdom" that represents "TRUTH & ENLIGHTENMENT. This piece is made of white glazed porcelain with extensive gold gilded detailing on the scales, claws, horns, and mane. This features an iridescent white water wash glaze.
The dragon is a Chinese symbol of power, strength, and good luck, often associated with prosperity. Excellent vintage condition no chips or cracks.
