*BUT, … most MYSTERIOUS is the fact the original canvas has been covered (Italian FRUTTA ~fruit)!! **See pic of label on back of painting. Wasn’t a First Edition of The Dec. of Independence hidden this way?!? ;)
*Also, it looks as though a partial color print was glued to R back edge of canvas (see pics)
