Vintage beaded necklace featuring natural tagua nut beads dyed in a rich olive green tone, paired with cream coconut shell heishi discs. The materials give this piece an earthy, organic look with beautiful texture and natural variation.
The necklace measures approximately 29 1/2" long. It is finished with a hand-forged sterling silver S-hook clasp marked “99." Both the hook and jump ring were acid tested and confirmed sterling. The green beads show the typical natural characteristics of tagua, including subtle natural surface variations and a smooth, polished finish.
This strand has a warm bohemian feel and displays the style commonly seen in late 1960s -1970s artisan jewelry.
Very good vintage condition with minor natural variations consistent with organic materials. The clasp shows normal patina from age.
