Vintage Sterling & Mother of Pearl Necklace

Vintage Sterling, silver and mother of pearl pendant necklace. I purchased this from a woman who had loads of Native American jewelry. Although it is not signed, she said it’s an older Navajo piece. But I cannot list it as such because there is no hallmark. It clearly has the design elements as such and it is really piece. It is teardrop shape pendant with four mother-of-pearl cabochons in sawtooth settings with an oxidized background. There are little ball accents and etching around the teardrop frame. The pendant bail is part of the pendant, so it will never break. It measures 1.5” long and is marked Sterling. The pendant hangs on an 18” sterling chain. Beautiful vintage handmade piece! J1
