**ABOUT ROYAL CRUISELINE:
Royal Cruise Line was founded in 1974 and became a successful, high-standard cruise line before being sold to Kloster Cruises (the parent company of Norwegian Cruise Line) in 1989. Its first ship was the Golden Odyssey, and the line later added the Royal Odyssey and Crown Odyssey. The brand was eventually dissolved, with its ships transferred to other lines within the parent company or sold, as Kloster Cruises focused on the upscale European market.
