Fièvres nocturnes is a book by Japanese artist Toshio Saeki, known for his unique "ero guro" (erotic grotesque) art style. The book is a compilation of illustrations published between 1972 and 1974 in the magazine SM Selecto

The artwork in Fièvres nocturnes infuses traditional Japanese motifs with surrealistic, dreamlike sadomasochism and macabre poetry. Saeki's style, reminiscent of shunga (Japanese erotic prints from the Edo period) and "clear line" European comics, explores themes of society's violence, flaws, and the anxieties of 1970s Japanese youth seeking liberation from paternalistic society. The images are intended to evoke fear or laughter by pushing the boundaries of fantasy and challenging Japanese Censorship
