This is a FIRST EDITION of Ernest Hemingway's classic 1952 novel, "The Old Man and the Sea," a 140 page, 5.75"x8.25" hardcover published by Charles Scribner's Sons (New York). The the Scribner's SEAL is present.There's no "A" on the copyright page, and this book won the Pulitzer the following year.
The book is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The blue cloth board cover is in great condition. The interior is otherwise clean and unmarked, the binding firm.
