Each Moon Knife is made of carbon steel, cut and sharpened to traditional standards. It's a dream for cutting through meat and bone, as well as hard-skinned fruit (like watermelon). Product Details

Carbon steel and wood. Due to the nature of carbon steel, this knife will eventually form a patina. This is normal and can help prevent rust. Packaged in a giftable mango wood storage box. Made in Thailand.

Care Instructions

Hand-wash. Do not put away until fully dry. Store away from humidity in the bamboo box provided. Use Japanese waterstones or similar sharpening stones to sharpen your knife. We recommend a protective layer of oil (olive, vegetable, canola) on the exposed carbon steel.
