On offer is this sweet Sicilian terracotta figural trio of townsfolk in period 19th century costume. Although the piece is unsigned, on close inspection of the faces it could be determined that this piece is very typical of the famous and sought after Vaccaro family of sculptors from Caltigirone, Sicily. This antique piece of sculptural pottery has so much character it captivates your attention and is assured to make you smile.The tableau stands 6.25" tall, 5.15" wide, and has a depth of 2.25". Overall the condition is quite good, however there are some losses commensurate with age.
