If you're storing 30+ gallons of hot water in a traditional water heater when your application requires much less than that, the Stiebel Eltron 233219 SHC 2.5 mini tank water heater provides you with a convenient, efficient alternative! Designed for installation at the point of use to provide hot water for hand washing or kitchen type applications either as a stand-alone hot water source or as a booster for a remote central tank, this 2.65 gallon tank mounts to a wall with the included bracket and simply plugs into the wall--no special hardwiring required. By using a smaller tank directly at the point-of-use, you not only save water by reducing long pipe runs from a central hot water tank, but also save energy by reducing standby heat loss associated with larger tanks! This glass-lined tank comes with a T&P valve for your convenience.
