A rare and pretty 20 inch Tahitian “South Sea” Pearl necklace. These are sometimes called “Black Pearls” but they are actually a light charcoal color with iridescent purple blue-green hues. It is a guaranteed authentic pearl that has been grown - cultured in Salt-Water. These gorgeous Pearls contain a very thick “Nacre”. The golden clasp is magnetized and made with lovely Swarovski Crystals.
Each of the beautiful 47 Black Pearls on the strand average 8.5 mm in diameter. The length of this necklace is called “Matinee.” Each Iridescent Pearl has a fractionally different diameter, which is normal.
Additionally, as with most high quality strands of South-Sea pearls; each one has a uniquely beautiful difference in color. The entire weight of this pearl strand and clasp is almost exactly 2.3 oz.
