Sheetrock 380059 Joint Compound with Dust Control 3.5 Gallon

Lightweight All Purpose Joint Compound with dust control is formulated to reduce airborne sanding dust. It binds fine residue during sanding to form heavier particles that drop to the floor instead of clouding the air. The result is a cleaner job environment.

The compound weighs 30-percent less than conventional compounds and requires only two coats over metal, such as paper-faced corner beads and fasteners. It sands with the ease of a topping compound and bonds like a taping product, delivering a tough, tight bond under most demanding job conditions. It combines all-purpose, single-package convenience with optimum taping and topping performance. Apply First Coat primer undiluted or a comparable undiluted interior latex wall primer that will equalize the texture and porosity variation between the joint compound and the gypsum board face paper

The compound's dust control formulation has been independently verified by Worker Industrial Hygiene Testing. Lightweight Joint Compounds including All Purpose with Dust Control are not recommended for skim coat applications.
