Good condition to display, but does have some damage. The handle has a piece broken away (see the photos). It still feels very sturdy, but I wouldn't recommend picking it up by the handle. The silver "basket" also shows some wear. I'm not sure what type of metal it is - it's a soft white metal (doesn't appear to be sterling). It isn't attached to the decanter, but it was made around it so it isn't removable. It can be wiggled a little bit. No other chips or cracks other than the handle. The stopper is stuck - I haven't tried to remove it for fear of breaking either the stopper or the decanter.
The decanter measures approximately 8" tall and is not marked.
