2020 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate, featuring a view of the Church of Our Lady (Danish: Vor Frue Kirke). It was built between 1817 and 1829, and is decorated with many sculpture by Bertel Thovaldsen. It was designated as the Danish National Cathedral (Lutheran) in 1922.
The design was created by Allan Therkelsen (signed AT on back). The design is molded into the porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. The plate is approximately 7 inches in diameter, mint condition, with original box and Certificate of Authenticity. Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three wavy line trademark of Royal Copenhagen.
