Luca Razza Zodiac Pendant Gemini, the Twins cast in Resin with gold plating from 1973, USA
This large three dimensional faux ivory pendant is from Luca Razza`s famous Zodiac collection. It consists of a impressive gold tone metal with ivory colored resin inserts. The pair of Twins are textured and decorated with thick gilded metal at the their hair and on the lute. Turning over reveals the basket metal work which adds depth and reduces the weight. The pendant is set on the original gold gilt plated chain with large links and the original working clasp. Stamped on the back © Razza. In excellent condition.
One of the happy accidents of living in Providence RI which was the jewelry capital of the world in the 20th Century is that I come across pieces like this in new or barely worn condition. This is one of them.
