An exceptional specimen of Papagoite included Quartz from the now closed Messina Mine, South Africa. When it comes to Quartz inclusions the most desirable and one of the very rarest inclusions out there is Ajoite. Ajoite included Quartz is found exclusively in the Artonvilla and Messina Mine locality of South Africa and no place else on Earth. Ajoite is one of the most popular minerals out there. Much more rare than Ajoite is the related mineral species Papagoite. This fully terminated gemmy Quartz crystal has a perfect Phantom of Papagoite in it. Top color saturation and sharp well defined phantom. This is a perfect example of what a nice Papagoite in Quartz should look like.
