This Vintage Seiko from 1980, although over 40 years old, looks like it did in 1980 while it is on the wrist. It starts with all stainless steel construction having a tonneau shaped case that is 38mm wide and 43mm from top to bottom. The dial is one of Seiko's famous radiant sunbursts in silver with a darker center strip that ends with a day/date box at the 3. The movement, the 7009, is one of the 7xxx series, that features 17 jewels, Autowind and all alloy construction, no plastic. It has had a recent service, and keeps decent time for a watch of the era. The bracelet is an expansion steel block type that is very comfortable and easily adjustable, fitting up to a 8" wrist.
