Lot of 5 vintage bread, dessert plates made by Shenango China in New Castle, PA. The plates are 6.25" in diameter often used for bread or desserts and have a double green stripe pattern. The stamped logo on the back dates the plates to 1930s-1950, likely the 1940s. These stoneware plates were produced for commercial use in restaurants, dinners, and hotels. They are heavy duty, durable and dishwasher safe. The set of 5 is in very good pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks and only minor wear.
