Pictures taken with a lens hood will generally have richer colors and deeper saturation. Lens hoods also add additional protection for your lens. This hood is designed to fit the Fuji 15-45mm power zoom lens. It is attached using the lens' 52mm mounting thread. The hood itself also has a 52mm thread allowing the original Fuji lens cap to be use with the hood in place. 52mm filters can also be applied to the hood's thread.
