The unit was powering on and acting like it was going to work, that is until I put a VHS in it. I started hearing sound in fast forward, then it powered off. The unit will power on and light up, but when you push the actual power button to start up the VHS player, it makes a little "whirring" sound then turns itself off. I can't eject the tape or do anything else.
Besides that, the player is cosmetically in pretty good condition. No remote or cables included (beside attached power cord).
That's all I know - besides this you are buying as-is.
