This pair of Qiankun Rings is made from jujube wood struck by lightning, sourced from Shandong, China. The wood was obtained by a Taoist priest in accordance with proper Taoist ritual practices, ensuring the tree remained alive. The rings were then crafted through a series of ceremonial processes.
I purchased them directly from a Taoist priest. They are genuine jujube wood, not cheap imitations. However, since I did not personally witness the harvesting process, I cannot 100% guarantee the lightning-strike origin – please use your own judgment.
Please note: natural jujube wood carries a distinct smell, often compared to old ink or snail powder. This odor is permanent and cannot be removed. If you are sensitive to this, please do not purchase.
