An absolutely gorgeous Lilli-Ann true vintage mohair designer coat dating back to their documented 1963 fall-winter collection.
Lilli Ann started in San Francisco in 1933 by Adolph Schuman, named for his wife, Lillian.
This stunning garment is fashioned in a soft fully-lined cream imported mohair wool. The construction is impeccable and has the type of seamed pattern work that one rarely sees today. 3/4 sleeves would be perfect with long gloves. The bodice has an amazing large ascot-tie collar decorated with sparkling studded rhinestones and beaded jewels.
This Lilli-Ann designer garment is in excellent condition with no rips, stains or holes. Lots of wonderful detail and immaculate seaming. Only sign of age is a few missing beads which is not noticeable when worn. This coat is over 60 years old and would be perfect for the colder winter months.
