Charles S. Kahn Lucite Purse

Designed by the highly regarded Miami, Florida-based manufacturer, Charles S. Kahn. This glamorous lucite box purse offers the same contemporary enchanting appeal it did seventy some years ago (1950's). The body of the handbag is a beautiful faux marbled tortoiseshell contrasted by the clear carved lid and waterfall handle. Overall, it is in excellent condition given its age and rarity; very slight surface scratches are present. Structurally the marbled confetti lucite body and hinged lid are in excellent working order. The carved lucite top is in beautiful condition. It was hard to capture the purses marbled brilliance, so I have included pictures of every angle. The last picture is examples of other Charles Kahn Lucite purses. Although it does not take away from its beauty, I only marked it as good bc of the connector under the lid. Thank you for looking!!
