Bruno Merli "Girl With Goose" Vintage Home/Office Collectible Sculpture Statue

This is a magnificent Bruno Merli “Girl With Goose” vintage sculpture statue. It was first introduced in 1983 and retired in 1989. It's from the Bruno Merli Capodimonte Children's collection. Bruno Merli is one of the most important artists representing the ancient creation of the famous Capodimonte pieces. This amazing statue is about a girl with an adorable face with pink cheeks and lips. She is standing near a huge white goose with a yellow beak. The girl has a cute pop belly and is wearing a white long dress with pink on the bottom and a beige apron. Her hair is curly brown and is in a top bun. Her eyes are mesmerizing grey. She is standing on a patch of grass. Some of the areas of the statue are glazed and the other areas are matte. It's 7 1/4" tall and 3 3/8" wide. It's displayed on the wooden base. The artist's signature is displayed on the bottom front. This figurine is in excellent vintage condition. No cracks or chips. Last known original retail price is $225.00. No box.
