This listing is for a lovely vintage Berggren kettle and carate.
Vintage From the 1960's
With a lovely white base color and a black handle, this kettle is decorated with bright, classic Berggren designs including the famous rooster, flowers and wreaths.
Each side of the kettle features the rooster standing tall in the morning on a weather vane as he crows out to the town below. Little colorful homes dot the foreground.
Above him in decorative blue script it reads "Coffee maketh bright the spirit" The iconic Berggren signature sits to the bottom right of the rooster.
The spout has three flowers on the front and sides of it and the top is also decorated in the same cheerful blooms. The lower part of the kettle also has a ring of the cheerful blooms as well as other colorful folk designs.
As for condition, the piece is in very good shape. The colors are still bright and there is Some wear to the piece both inside and out
