Stainless Steel Arctic Strainers are cast with 2205 stainless steel giving your water system an exceptional level of corrosion resistance. Hydrasearch strainers undergo an electro polishing process which removes contaminants from the surface exposing the pure stainless steel. Boaters get a rich chromium film finish to the stainless steel. This gives additional defense against corrosion that is superior to others on the market.
There is no welding to corrode the one piece cast strainer. These stainers have an inherent swirl action created by the offset outlet. This design will quickly scavenge air while maximizing the used area of the rugged full height basket. The efficient lid design ensures safe, quick and easy access for maintenance. This style of strainer is suitable for marine engines, generators and air conditioning units.
