Description: This is an unusual brooch with a large deep red molded glass stone. The stone is pronged. The setting is like a picture frame holding the pattern of multiple kinds of flowers and leaves. The fastener is a c clasp with a long pin used until the early 1900s. It is an antique pin that is not often seen. I suspect that the metal is brass but I have not tested it for fear of damaging the pin.
