16" Kestner Character Baby Jean Antique Doll. Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, brown mohair wig, original plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body, antique likely original layette, bonnet, diaper, and leather booties.
Condition: generally very good, minor wear and chipping of body, light soiling of layette. I do not want to remove the clothing for fear of damaging it.
Marks: J Made in Germany 13 247 JDK.
Kestner model Baby Jean circa 1915.
This doll was found in an estate and has been stored for many years. I will remove the pate and stuff her head for shipping.
