A three-tile decorative panel, after William De Morgan, by Su Turner, late 20th/ early 21st century, painted with a mythical peacock like bird amongst foliage, taken from an original De Morgan design in the Jackfield Tile Museum, Ironbridge. This has a narrow blue tile border. Is signed & dated in the bottom right corner. This is a heavy piece with thick wood frame. The frame has a a couple of areas of damage which I’ve photographed. Pic 6 & 7. This piece measures approx 23.5” T x 11.5”. No chips or cracks on the tiles. Absolutely stunning use of color. Perfect for those narrow beam walls at home that nothing ever fits on. Beautiful addition to any tile art collection.
