A wonderful multi cameo brooch, in solid 14 carat gold.

It's set with seven matching, tiny hand carved cameos in natural shell and two different color MPO, each one depicting a classical Victorian woman, in high relief and fine detail as they're so small, the styles are very similar and they catch the light in the same way, with beautiful stylization and forced perspective. Each sits in an individual solid gold cell, they are enclosed a round small Cameo. The gold decoration stands alongside the detail of the cameos, giving the whole piece an impression of intricacy and symbolism and draws the eye closer to its minutiae. The brooch is 1.5".
